Hello Everyone! Told you I have surprise for you. This must be my first celebrity inspiration blog post and I am so, excited for this. I want to do more of these in future so if you guys have any ideas about celebrity inspired makeup looks, please let me know you guys! . This look is very simple yet elegant so it’s not so hard to pull off. Well, I tried my best. The thing you need to know about celeb inspired look is you take the inspiration and make it work your way, not completely copy the celebrity’s look and try to make it work for you. With that being said let’s just jump right in.
Alright, first thing first you guys, I have already applied my base makeup such as foundation and concealer. I have given the more focus on eyes and lips in this post. Make sure the base makeup is pretty matte as Ariana seems to have matte base in the music video. I used Loreal Tru Match foundation and for concealer I used the mixture of Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer and LA Girl Pro concealer in Creamy beige for that extra highlight underneath my eyes, in the bridge of my nose, in between my eyebrows and my chin. Let’s move on to brow. Ariana’s brow looks pretty straight in the video but my eyebrows are naturally arched so I went for arched brows. If you wanna go with straight brows then you can go ahead and do that. I used the eyebrow pomade from Anastasia Beverly Hills in the shade soft brown
Now let’ move on to eyes you guys. I used the Naked 3 eyeshadow palette and Carly Bybel Eyeshadow pallete for this eye look. First start by priming your eye lids, I used my concealer and set it with the powder afterwards. Then, let’s focus on our transition shade.
And deposited the color in my outer V creating a soft wing. Then I took the matte black color from same pallete and followed the wing that we have already created to form a soft winged eye liner as Ariana didn’t seem to have any harsh wing in her video.
To mimic that fluttery looking lashes of Ariana’s I went quite glam with my Eyelure Exaggerate lashes in the style N 143.
It’s time for lips now and for that I used Australis lip pencil in the shade nudierudie to outline the outer shape of my lips and I filled in using Rimmel London Provocalips lips gloss in the shade make your move.
Now the main parts are done. Let’s move onto the blush and contour. I used LA girl pro concealer in the dark shade as my contour for my cheeks, jawline, bridge of my nose and my forehead. Then, I topped it off using Rimmel London Sun bronze to set my contour. For blush, I used Models Prefer blush in the shade autumn calling. Also, for the highlight, I used same Carly Bybel pallete and used the most golden color from the pallete as my highlighter at top of my cheeks, bridge of my nose and cupids bow. TADA! we are done you guys!
I thought it was so easy to achieve this look. Let me know what you thought of it!
