Hey! all. As I promised I am back with another bold makeup tutorial and yes, this time, I have my model with me. I would like to thank beautiful friend/sister Bernie for being my model and I hope, well I am quite sure she enjoyed it! Let’s just begin, shall we?
Eye and lips are the major part of this look so let’s mostly focus on that!
I suggest everyone out there to start off doing their eye first cause there are gonna be fall outs from eyeshadows and it wouldn’t look very great if you do your base makeup first. Before we begin, don’t forget to prime your eye area. If you don’t own an eye primer, concealer would be the best option for you as it helps to cancel out redness in the eye but also don’t forget to set the concealer using powder. Also, start off with a clean and moisturized base for your makeup.
I used two eyeshadows for this look Morphe 35W and Naked 3 from Urban Decay. Of course, you don’t have to use same eyeshadows for this look, You can use the alternatives of the eyeshadow colors I used as they are very versatile and common colors.
First off, I started by applying the transition color in her crease using a blending brush, I used soft brown color for this process. Applying a transition color is very important while working with smokey eye to achieve that gradient smoked out look.
Then, I went ahead and used deep coral color using as much light hand as possible and deposited into her crease for more transition shade. This will help to create that gradient effect.
Then, I started carving out her outer V starting from the outer corner of her eyes. I used medium brown color for this.
Then, I started deepening the outer V color. I took a little as I go. So, I used dark brown shade to deepen the shadow. I blended the whole color using the clean fluffy blending brush. I used the damp synthetic brush to pick up the color “mugshot” from Naked 3 pallette. It’s more like a rose golden mixed with classic gold color. *If that makes sense* Then, I deposited the color into her eyelids. I also picked up the shade “darkside” which is more like a dark silvery color and placed it on top of the eyelid color.
I did the same thing in her other eyes. I did go ahead and deepen the outer V using more like a light matte purple shade and blended it away before I went with the small winged eyeliner to compliment her hooded eyes.
Then I moved into her face and did the base makeup usingLoreal Trumatch Foundation. And blended it using the damp beauty blender. I also used LA Girl pro concealer underneath her eyes to highlight and conceal . I did go a bit heavy with concealer as we are aiming for the bold look. Then I went ahead and set her concealer using loose powder to softly bake the highlighted areas.
Then I went ahead and do her eyebrows usingAnastasia Beverley Hill’s dipbrow pomade. Her eyebrows were naturally thick so I just had to mimic her natural hair growth and create a shape. I didn’t go very dramatic with her brows as they were naturally thick. I used dark bronzer from Rimmel London sun bronze to contour and bronze her face, nose, forehead and jawline. And used shimmery pink blush from Models prefer mineral blush “soft touch”. After finishing the face makeup, I went ahead and lined her lips using
After finishing the face makeup, I went ahead and lined her lips using Australis lip liner in the shade “wallflower” which is like a soft purple/lavender color and filled in the sides of her lips. Then, I topped off her lips using the dark purple lipstick from chi chi cosmetics in the shade “drama queen”.I deposited the color into her lips first using the applicator that comes with the lipstick then I used the brush to blend the colors together to create the soft purple lip color. Then, we are done you guys! If you are going out using this makeup look don’t forget to set your face with makeup spray to make it last all night long!
I hope you all like it. All the products I have used are linked in the red words mentioned. Thank you for your time.
