Hello there, lovely people! How are you all doing? Hope you are having a wonderful time whichever part of the world you are from. Yes, I know I know I have been MIA for a long long time and you know what, I am going to skip all the excuses of having hectic schedules, work, uni blabla. Let’s just say that I was lost in a real world with real problems, within thoughts of career choices and life decisions. However, I am back and I will be posting whenever I am able to.
Let’s get straight into today’s post now, shall we? While I was away, I built up a very obsessive but beneficial habit of becoming an ultimate skincare hoarder. I got into skincare by the thought of treating myself here and there. I used to forget to use up the products, I bought and now, I cannot live without it. I include few masks and serums, here and there in my skincare routine and I honestly couldn’t believe it myself after seeing the positive result in my skin.
Today I am gonna tell you guys about my ultimate skincare routine and few must haves products for your skin types as a skincare starter kit. I started falling in love with skincare since I became a victim of hormonal acnes. I didn’t have alot of them but very few unwelcomed guests who won’t leave no matter how hard you try to kick them out are annoying, aren’t they? That’s how I exactly felt. That’s what got me started using The Body Shop – Tea Tree range. These products are known for oily and acne prone skin types which help mattify your oily skin throughout the day and helps to get rid of acne and blemishes. I was stuck in this skincare for such a long time and I still use it here and there, however I like to try new things out because I know there are a lot of hidden gems out there, which I haven’t got chances to try out yet. Then, I started investing at serums and eye creams. They say you start your anti-ageing care at the age of twenty, I might be two years older to get a start at it but better late than never right? I was started off by the wonderful staffs at The Body Shop store with the game changing Drops of Youth range including the Serum and Drops of Youth eyecream which essesntially as name suggests, provides that healthy youth glow by preventing ageing and wrinkles. I feel like eye cream is a must haves in every one’s skincare because our skin underneath our eyes are the most sensitive, hence they tend to get crease and wrinkle easily. These products also provides that healthy radiant glow in your skin, which literally makes your skin look like you’ve got some natural, invisible highlighters on. From day one of using these products, I’ve got people asking me what I use in my skin and how to look so radiant and glowy naturally.
Since, all the oily skin peeps are sorted enough, time to suggest some amazing products for dry skin peeps. I have shopped and researched few dry skin skincare products for my friends and also to answer some curiosities of my Instagram followers. The staff at The Body Shop store recommended me with their Vitamin E and Oils Of Life range which targets to hydrate your skin, to replenish and revive the radiance back to your skin. You might want to check the serum out from this range which is literally an oil so you can imagine the amount of hydration it can provide to your skin.
Although, these products sound fancy and are guarantted to work, all of us necessarily don’t have enough pennies to spare on such luxe items. Therefore, for all the babes on a budget, I suggest you to try out some products from Sukin Skincare range which are all nature and chemical free suitable for both dry and oily skin. You can also check out the skincare brand Alya Skin ‘s pink clay mask if you are longing for a nice detox to your skin along with some radiance and glow. Please be mindful, as important as it is to involve these products or steps in your skincare, you need to be careful about your skin types and harshness some products can cause especially in dry or sensitive skin. In that case, I suggest you to exfoliate or use masks only once or twice per a week to avoid any extreme redness to your skin.
I hope you found this post helpful, despite of it being long. I wanted to put out all the deatiled information which I don’t get to share in my instagram stories. If you haven’t already followed me on IG, then what are doing HAHA! I am more active and always sharing my skincare journey there. Thank you guys so much for reading this far. Please do let me know what you guys want me to post about next.
