I used to think getting out of your comfort zone is like “technically” not being myself. Especially when it comes to fashion, I have always hesitated trying out fashion trends that were a bit off my style. However, recently I have been encouraging myself to go out there and try n explore new fashion trends and work it out according to my style. This inspired me to come up with this outfit look and share it with you guys. I hope you like it.
We all know pulling off DENIM X DENIM requires a lot of creativity because you are trying to work out the similar outfits and turn it into something edgy without making it look completely flat. Now we all have heard about DENIM on DENIM, but this time I wanna share my ideas of rocking DENIM on DENIM on DENIM. (yes please keep a count of how many times I use a word “denim’ in this post). I came up with this idea when I came across this awesome looking DENIM Lace Up Stilettos from Missguided.
For this look, I chose the different shades of denim, from top to bottom so it would be easier to balance and contrast the outfit. This outfit look shows the seamless transition of a different shade of denim fading from light to dark. I started by using the light wash distressed denim jacket on top, followed by the medium shade of distressed mom jeans on bottom and finally to top it all off, the star of the show was this Dark Blue Denim Stiletto which tied the whole look together. As this outfit looks give that very edgy looking street style vibe, I wanted to distract all the edginess and bring out a little bit of feminity to the look. I used this dusty rose pink crop top from Kookai for the purpose of bringing out my own feminine style to the outfit and tie the whole look together. I feel like using this crop top to pop in the midst of denim gives such an amazing result to the whole outfit. Now, to add contrast to the whole look I added the pop of color using this red Marikai bag from Strandbags. You can also accessorise this outfit look by using hoop earrings or choker. For this look, I decided to go with gold circle hoop earrings and some different style of rings in my fingers to rock that 90s vibe. You can get this earring and rings from Lovisa. I would say another way of rocking this outfit is going wild with accessories that reflects your personality the most. For instance, adding a little bandana choker can give that Edgy street syle vibe and pull off the whole outfit together.
As per the makeup look, I followed my simple go to fall makeup look with luminous skin, winged eyeliner and dark burgundy lips. I will upload my go to fall makeup look in next blog post so stay tuned for that. I hope you guys like this blog post as much as I liked creating it. All those hard times standing on those stilettos paid off. Don’t even get me started about behind the scenes struggles, but it’s all worth it once I got to see the results. Thank you for supporting me so far and please keep the process on.
