I know it’s not “fall” anymore. The winter has already started wiping out human species by making everything FREEZING cold. I know, I know, you must be wondering, “isn’t it summer already?” Too bad we live in the country down under where everything is entirely opposite and it’s sweaty as hell in Christmas. Right! However, everything has its positive sides and I love that we get to stay warm and cozy in winter and wear all those luxury coats(if you can afford them). But, the main thing I love about fall is “THAT BOLD MAKEUP”. The dark bold lips compliment this weather so much and it’s as simple as that to achieve it.
Today, I am going to share my easy go to Fall Makeup Look. As a matte base is well popular in summer, dewy face screams glow in winter. That is why I opt for more hydrating and dewy foundation during Fall. Even though I have a combination skin(sometimes it can be oily as hell), I love having that dewy glowy look for winter. It doesn’t only makes you face glow but also makes it look youthful(something that is never enough). If you are willing to go that extra mile, I sometimes prefer adding an illuminator or liquid highlighter underneath my foundation to make my skin more glowy. In other words, “STROBING”. It is a very popular makeup step that once took the internet by storm(it was that hyped up). I would usually put the highlighter in the high points of my face like my nose bridge, in tops of my face and above the eyebrow.
Once the base is mastered, it actually gets easier to achieve the ultimate go to fall makeup look. For this particular look, I went with the winged eyeliner and bold burgundy lips. I chose this look because it is As Classy As It Can Get. If you wanna know how to get the perfect winged eyeliner, you can follow one of my older blog posts. I explain every step in detail. After you have got that perfect sharp winged eyeliner, make sure you have those fluttery lashes to accompany the eyeliner. I sue Mascara for my everyday routine but if you wanna be extra putting on some lashes, YOU GO GURL. Then, you can follow your everyday contour and highlight routine. In my case, I would prefer skipping sharp contouring, but having a good bronzer on my cheekbones to represent that fall vibes. As per the blush, a little pink flush on the cheeks wouldn’t hurt. Also, add some cream highlighter to give that glowy shine to your skin. And, to tie up the whole look together, add any bold liquid lipsticks(I prefer dark red or burgundy) to show off the fall vibes. It is just as simple as that to showcase some fall vibes in your everyday look.
Also, no matter how cold it gets (since it started raining from yesterday) don’t forget to wear that smile on your face. And, also, please stay warm!.
