Yes ladies! The term “no makeup makeup” exists. I mean saying natural makeup is too cliche’ This is my everyday go to flawless yet
natural makeup routine. Well it does depend on my mood really for that extra bit of jaaz and glam but pretty much for everyday routine I like to stick around the natural side and let my skin breathe. Unless I am not going/doing something/somewhere important. This makeup look is appropriate for work/uni/school, all those places where we should be presentable yet be very light handed with our makeup. Cause we wanna camouflage all the behind the scenes work and actually make others believe that we are flawless inside and out.
If you wanna know how to achieve this look then please stick around!
Let’s talk about foundations. I have or had seen a lot of girls making mistake with the foundation shade, DO NOT choose foundation way too lighter than your skin tone just cause you want to be more fairer or way too darker just cause you want to look more tanned. However if you do fake tanning it’s different story. But foundations are supposed to match with your body to make it look more natural so be very careful when you purchase one.
For the natural look I just like to place a thin layer of foundation in the main areas such as center of my face, in my chin and in my forehead. I used matter foundation for this look cause I have oily skin, If you have dry skin, try to go for more dewy and luminous foundation. I used Maybelline’s matte and poreless foundation as it gives you very natural looking matte look.
We are going to top off the look using concealer to cancel out any dullness around your eyes and also brighten those areas. I used my all time favorite Maybelline Age Rewind concealer
Now talk about those on fleek eyebrows. Eyebrows are important part of your whole makeup look cause it helps to frame your face so do not leave out this step if you wanna look a bit presentable. However, on fleek doesn’t mean we have to do all bold instagram brows. Just aim for natural yet filled in brows using feathery strokes. I used Anastasia Beverly Hills dipbrow pomade in the shade Caramel.
Now let’s give our face some structures. You might think it’s a natural look so I wanna miss out the blush and contour, But this will make your face looks really flat so apply the natural pink blush in the apples of your cheeks and apply a bronzer to warm up your cheekbones instead of using contour cream.
Let’s move onto eyes. A simple and single coat of mascara will do for the eye lashes want to stop there. But for my working ladies out there, I know you like a bit of glam in your eyes. I used a liquid liner and lined as close to my lash line as possible to give the effect of fuller looking lashes. Also use the same bronzer to contour your crease to give that warmth and dimension in your eyes.
Here you go, a very natural yet flawless no makeup makeup look. Hope you all like it. If you have any blog request you can comment below to let me know.
