Hello Everyone, I hope you all are doing well…I remember once the era of “soft glam makeup look” took over Youtube as every other Youtuber was doing it and I thought why not try one for myself. I am not usually a
big fan of bold and statement looks, it’s a preference really! Soft glam looks can be easily transformed from day to night look with just a few touches. So Versatile! right?
Starting off with the eye, I always like to start off with a transition colour in the crease. I used the taupe colour from The Nudes Pallete using a blending brush and deposited the colour into her crease. Then, I like to carve out the outer V; which means the outer third of the eye with dark brown colour using the smallest amount as possible and building up the intensity as I keep blending. Then, I deposited the colour buzz from Naked3 Pallete onto her eyelids in the tapping motion using the flat shader brush..why tapping motion? cuz it helps to deposit the more amount of product onto the eyelid.. in case you haven’t heard of it.. It’s just a brush technique where you tap and push the shadows onto the eyelid so that they deposit properly. Then, I also used the colour brunt from same pallete which is more like a rosegold colour and deposited onto middle part of her eyelid..along with the vanilla coloured shimmers from The Nudes Pallete to place it into her inner corners and her in brow bones to give the awakening effect to her eyes..And I finished off her eye look using Maybelline’s Lash Sensational Mascara..
To give that extra touches of soft glam , I topped up her look using Models Prefers highligter in the shade Fame and Fortune for that nice glow.
I hope you all like it.. It is very easy look to recreate and throw on in any occasions or parties you have to attend! Do let me know how you think about it in the comment sections! I will see you all in my next post.. Thanks for your time.
