Oh! How have I missed blogging? I have been MIA for so long..Well, I needed some motivation and as well as a personal space like everyone else. And it feels good to be back after so long. Also, today happened to be the first year anniversary of this website so I had to blog something special. I will be doing a different blog post on the main reasons why I started blogging (it just needs more thinking). For now, I have The Ultimate Bombshell Babe makeup look for you all. Please Enjoy!
Makeup is one size fits all or so I have heard. I also believe that different people have different beliefs regarding makeups and certain makeup looks. In my perspective, a bombshell look is something that has natural complimenting tones of eyeshadows and lipsticks and also minimal use of makeup (but, making sure that we cover every step including “baking” cause we going for that flawless bomb look). So, for this look, I decided to go for a subtle plum smokey eye with glossy nude lips. First of all, the main focus should be the base makeup. I used the Urban decay Naked Skin foundation in the shade 7 to achieve the matte as well as weightless look. As the name says, this foundation is very light weight and it almost feels like you are not wearing one. I also went ahead and baked my under eyes and underneath my bronzer for that matte and flawless look. I did go for full on bold brows using the Benefit Cosmetics goof proof brow pencil. But, I kept my contouring very subtle by only using the Rimmel London sun bronzer. As well as for highlighting, I went very subtle.
Now for eyes, I used Tarte Cosmetics Pro Amazonian Clay Eyeshadow palette. I used the burnt orange shade as my transition color followed by almost grayish lilac color in my crease and I used the dark pink color in my outer V to intensify the crease a little bit. For my eye lids, I used concealer to carve out my eyelids first to almost have a subtle cut crease look, but later I went ahead and blended the lid color and crease color anyway. I used the shimmery plum color on the lids and smoked out completely until my hand hurt *like literally*. Also, I added a razor sharp winged eyeliner using Kat Von D tattoo liner and blended out the same crease colors in my lower lash line as well.
For lips, it was so easy, I used the Maybelline Vivid Matte Lips in the shade nude thrill first, then I went ahead and added Chichi Cosmetics drama queen lightly and blended both colors together to give glossy pinkish nude effect. Both of lipsticks were creamy in nature so I didn’t need to add extra gloss for the glossy effect.
And there you have it, The Ultimate Bombshell Babe Makeup Look. This was literally so easy to create. I did add some flirty lashes for that little oomph but you can totally skip it with few coats of mascara.
I hope you guys like it. Just remember that you do not have to copy someone completely or change your beliefs of makeup according to them. Sometimes doing what works for you the best provides the best results. 🙂
