You know it’s holiday time when you JINGLE BELLS starts ringing like crazy. It’s probably not only me going through this, I mean who doesn’t get excited about Christmas and most importantly, HOLIDAYS. Ah! Feels like forever, I haven’t been posting much of makeup posts lately. It just, I wanted to explore Fashion for a while and I learned so much during the process. Thanks to all of you, you just keep me going. These days I have been doing makeup for a lot of people for different occasions and it just inspired me so much to post this look.
So, today I have this Holiday Makeup Look for you all. It’s holiday season so of course the makeup had to be full on glam. I am gonna put more focus on eyes and lips cause that is what binds this whole look altogether. Let’s start with eyes first. Cut Crease Eye Makeup Look has been on hype since a long long time. It’s something that can instantly transform your look. As easy as it sounds, it is indeed quiet hard to pull it off. I am not gonna lie, this makeup trend has always intimidated me so much but today, I decided to give it a go. Since, it was my first time trying it, I didn’t wanna go for that sharp cut crease look. Instead, I went for more smoked out and subdued eye makeup look to suit her features. To start off, I used burnt orange shade in her crease as a transition colour. Then, I used a small pencil brush and started carving out a line in her crease using dark brown shade, winging it out as I go. To create that smoked out effect, I used some of the leftover transition shade in the blending brush and blended the cut crease. It’s all about adding and adjusting colours when it comes to smokey eye, and also blending blending and blending. Repeat with me “Blending is key”. Then, I used this metallic gold shade in her eye lid for that holiday sparkle. and topped it off using eye liner and fluttery false lashes.
For the base makeup, I went full on using full coverage foundation and concealer, and also heavily contoured and highlighted look to enhance her features. And, to combine the whole holiday theme together, I decided to go with deep red matte liquid lipstick. I feel like Liquid Lipsticks can instantly transform your whole look , if done properly. They are bit tricky to apply perfectly, but all you need is patience and less shaky hands. I choose the color dark red cause it screams CHRISTMAS and what else would you rather be wearing if not red for this Christmas? You can wear this look for night out, dinner, anything. Especially, what else would do justice for holiday makeup if it’s not some sparkle combined with red lips? Think about it!
Thank you so much for your time. I hope you all find some inspiration from this look. If you do, please share it to me in the comment section below.
