Do you know how much patience it takes to learn a whole new language? Literally a whole new language with whole new grammars and structure just because you want to understand what your favourite artist is saying when he goes live or you just want to be able to sing along to their lyrics because they are so beautiful.
Hello Everyone! Been a long time aye? Today I am writing this post not only because of its BTS’s 6th year debut anniversary but also I want to feed the curiosity to the people who’ve been constantly asking me why I love BTS so much, even though the answer is simple. Their music. After publicly admitting that I am obsessed with BTS and their music, I have had a lot by a lot I mean a lot of people asking me the reason behind this. I guess it wouldn’t be the case if it was some other relevant artists but because it was Kpop, everyone thought my love for them was weird or out of proportion.
I am Monica and I am proud BTS ARMY. For you, it just might be a fandom with a cool name but you haven’t dig deeper to understand how much this fandom has achieved together. Let me give you a little insight into BTS. BTS has seven members. Kim
So my question is how can you not support them seeing how far they have come and understanding their journey towards success?
I became a BTS Army two years ago. I still remember when I watched their music video for the first time and the curiosity kept lingering due to a story behind their song. It almost felt like they trying to tell me a message. And that feeling kept me going. I listened to their songs more than 100 times to be able to sing in Korean. To the point, I am now fluent in most of their songs, and I understand what the words mean. Seeing them say, they were at the point in their life when they were questioning if they are good enough, they were working till 4 am just to get the message across to their fans to love themselves and accept themselves even when they are the ones struggling.
I wish I knew their music when I was going through the worst phase of my life. But the scars from those moments still remains within me and the only reason I have learned to recover is through their music. Their music, their story, and their lyrics are so powerful. The way they interact with their fans, give us their valuable time when they could be just resting, go live for us and talk to us, learn English for us so they could communicate to international fans, make a whole music video dedicated to us. Sometimes, I think we haven’t done enough to deserve them. One day these seven boys came outta nowhere to tell me to love myself, trust my hardships and go on, speak for myself and accept my flaws. All I did was open my door to them and they gave a cosmos full of love and positivity. Through them, I have met a friend who believes in them as much as I do and for once I don’t feel like I am being judged.
I could go on and tell you how much they have donated and how they are active in charities but I will let their action speak more than my words. This is a post dedicated to BTS and to tell the world why I love them so much.
Message to BTS:
Thank you for giving me the reason to love myself. Thanks a lot for enduring all those pain you had at the beginning and thank you for loving yourself. Hope to see you soon in Australia.
Army Loves BTS.
